Southern Norway's Christmas Aquavit – a journey across three continents
What do you get when you combine southern craftsmanship, true seamanship and a good dose of adventure? The answer is Sørlandets Juleaquavit 2025 – an aquavit that has spent ten months on the blue sea aboard the training ship Sørlandet ?
To eiketønner – ett sherryfat og ett madeirafat – har reist over tre kontinenter, ti land og krysset Atlanterhavet to ganger om bord Fullriggeren Sørlandet. Resultatet? En gyllen, smaksrik akevitt som bærer preg av tid, vær og bevegelse. 🌊
1399 numbered bottles were ready – and the response has been enormous. Det Norske Brenneri (The Norwegian Distillery Corp.) reports record sales, it is sold out 😮 everywhere, and we are proud to have contributed to a chapter in the history of Southern Norway.
