Personal data means all information that can be linked to you as a person. The Ship Sørlandet must have a reason for obtaining information. Establishing customer relationships with you may be such a reason. In those cases, we will only collect information that is necessary and relevant to the customer relationship.
HOW DO WE PROTECT YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
The information we have about you is stored by data processors on our server which we rent from Globetech AS. The server is VPN secured. Other systems (data processors) we use are Dropbox, 24SevenOffice, Office365 from Microsoft, MailChimp and a booking program supplied by Adventuretech AS (Bilberry). Your personal data is handled by employees in the foundation's administration, the ship's crew and relevant authorities. These store and process the information on behalf of the Foundation The Ship Sørlandet , in accordance with this privacy policy and the applicable personal data act. We will never sell information about you, nor share or exchange information without your permission.
Because you sail like trainee on board voyage , the Foundation must send personal data to port authorities in ports of departure and arrival.
Under voyage can photos be taken of trainees and skuta, the Foundation reserves the right to use such images for marketing purposes, both online and in print.
WHAT DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL DATA FOR?
Your personal data shall only be used for the specific purpose for which it is collected and information to you about our business in the form of newsletters and offers. We need the information to establish an agreement with you and to register the order correctly in our systems to fulfil the obligations that we have undertaken to you through the Agreement.
TO WHOM DO WE DISCLOSE PERSONAL DATA?
Personal data that you provide to us will only be provided to our managers on the ship on the voyages where it is necessary.
