Sørlandet returns home on 17 May
Sørlandet is likely to make it home to Kristiansand on 17 May. After 5 weeks in Bermuda and almost a month at sea, she arrives in Kristiansand on the constitutional day. On board there are 53 students, 5 teachers and a crew of 12. We hope many small boats and the rest of the city welcome her home.
If the wind and weather are part of it, she will arrive at Vestergapet and Fredriksholmen 11-12 AM. She will wear the "May 17 bunade" and we hope all the city's leisure boats meet and greet her with the flags to the top. Then she will sail to her permanent place at Kai 6 and dock before the national anthem and the boat parade.
