🌟 Celebrating diversity and equality on Women's Day! 🌟
On the occasion of International Women's Day, I would like to share some thoughts about diversity and equality in our organization. As the only man in the "shipping office" of the Foundation The Ship Sørlandet , and with a strong female representation in our subsidiary A+ World Academy, I am proud of our work. But we still have a way to go to increase the proportion of women in the maritime crew.
💪On the occasion of Women's Day on March 8th, I would like to share a proud reflection on our teams at the Foundation The Ship Sørlandet .
💪As the only man in the "shipping office" along with five talented women, I witness the incredible effort and expertise they bring to the table every day.
💪In our subsidiary, A+ World Academy, we have a management team consisting of three men and four women, and among the seven teachers on board, there is only one man.
💪We always work to achieve a balanced gender distribution among our students, and we are proud to say that we are successful in this.
❗️But we still have an important challenge ahead of us: increasing the proportion of women in the maritime crew. Currently, only 16.3% of the crew are women, and we are determined to improve this figure. We believe that diversity strengthens us, and we are committed to creating a more inclusive and equal workplace. Let's celebrate Women's Day together and continue the work for equality and diversity in all sectors! 💪🌍
