" Sørlandet " is on its way from historic Cartagena in Spain to Madeira

" Sørlandet is on its way from Cartagena in Spain to Madeira outside Portugal. She arrived in historic Cartagena on October 28. The students had a useful and pleasant stay in the historic port city. On Friday 5 November, she set course for Madeira off Portugal. Read more about your stay in Cartagena below.

" Sørlandet " has left the historic port of Cartagena and is now on its way to beautiful Madeira. Cartagena was eventful with local school visits, rafting, hiking and visits to important Roman monuments. They were also fortunate to welcome on board two Red Cross representatives who spoke with the students about the work currently being done in the area and how individuals can help.Their talk tied in perfectly with their focus on the global refugee crisis.

On the way, they have had a "family dinner" (all the students and the crew eat together) with a fun game night afterwards. A great opportunity for the students, and the crew who have just mustered on the ship, to catch up on everything that has happened since the beginning of the school year. The game night was full of lots of laughter and shouts as they fought for dominance in Uno and other card games.

Below you can download and read the entire latest weekly report from the school's dean; Emily Waugh.
