SUMMER ON SØRLANDET - THE TICKETS TORN AWAY

Shortly after the launch of the concert series "Sommer på Sørlandet » all the tickets were torn away. With the help of a collaboration with Kilden, a bunch of extra tickets are now available for sale.

Under the theme “Summer on Sørlandet ” everything from a moonlight cruise with opera to a sunshine trip and shellfish on the fjord with Silya, Sigvart Dagsland, Ingebjørg Bratland and Janove from the Kaizers Orchestra was launched a few weeks ago. All the tickets for these concerts were torn away. It shows that the unique offer is popular in a summer where Norwegians want to holiday in their home country once again.

- Now we enter into a partnership with Kilden so that we can put out more tickets, says Knut Arne Gjertsen, general manager of the Foundation The Ship Sørlandet . There is limited space The Ship , but we have some exciting ideas about how it can be absolutely fantastic, he continues with a twinkle in his eye. The tickets will already be released on Thursday 10 June at 12.00.

The Ship will be added to the quay vis-a-vis The source and the jetty will then be covered with tables and chairs so that those who secure the extra tickets can watch the stage directly on board the monumental sailing ship. And at the tables, good food and drink will be served to the lucky guests.

In the first instance, extra tickets will be put out for Sigvart Dagsland and Janove from Kaizers Orchestra.

Invited large and continues with it
Every week this summer, guests get a musical archipelago cruise on the world's oldest full rigs and culinary experiences. Vilhelm Krag's 150th anniversary will also be celebrated, in addition to a tribute to Prøysen and other exciting entertainment along with southern delicacies. Among others, the world-famous Flying Culinary Circus can be seen on board. They make exciting food in sensational ways. There are new offers that also interest other parts of the population. "Summer evening with Prøysen", the men's choir Gaasehud and an exciting group called Myrull are three exciting offers. Other parts of the region are visited by the ship, and the first is Farsund.

- Guests receive entertainment for the heart, ears and palate served at what must be said to be Norway's most spectacular restaurant, says Gjertsen. He is looking forward to putting the majestic ship back into operation, and hopes this corresponds well with the reopening of Norway.

There will be many sailings completely out of the ordinary this summer. But according to Gjertsen, you just have to get used to the unusual The Ship . Let's go for new adventures, we just say!
