The school ship returned home from a long voyage on 5 June 2022

The school ship Sørlandet coming home after over 9 months on a long trip with A+ World Academy. On board there are 57 students, 8 teachers and a crew of 12.

They have visited St.Malo, Porto de Leixoes, Cartagena, Madeira, las Palmas, Cape Verde, Grenada, Bequia, Saint Martin, Puerto Rico, Bermuda, the Azores, Schvenigen, Elsinore and Skagen before returning home. She is the world's oldest full rig in operational operation. Launched in 1927 from Høivold's mechanical workshop in Otra in Kristiansand.
