Sailing, challenges and community on the way to Seville

👍 After departing from Funchal, I experienced Sørlandet truly the Atlantic – from fast 8-9 knot sailing in fresh winds to calm days with big swells and light breezes. Life on board has varied from the “tumble dryer” feeling to idyllic moments on deck under sunny skies.
👍 Along the way, we encountered a medical situation with one of our teachers, who needed a hospital check-up. Thanks to the excellent cooperation between the captain, the doctor and the local authorities in Cádiz, everything was handled professionally and without delay. As part of the procedure, the ship was fumigated - a reminder of how important health and safety is in international sailing.
👍 Now we are safely moored in Seville, ready for new experiences and learning. The atmosphere on board? Still fantastic – the community on board is still strong, no matter what the sea brings.
