Report from antiquarian steel work on The Ship Sørlandet

The Ship Sørlandet is classified in the highest protection class, therefore strict rules apply to the execution of all work, so-called antiquarian principles. This essentially means that skin plates and other things that are renewed must be exchanged like for like. Both in relation to appearance, use of material (steel) and the work itself: dismantling, production, assembly, riveting and caulking.

This report deals with the repairs and replacement of the ship's clinked steel structures as well as a visual condition check and observations of the hull below the waterline.
