As Head of Growth and Marketing, you will have broad responsibility for the organization's growth and development. You will help build the brand, strengthen partnerships, develop new revenue opportunities, and bring together communication, marketing, and commercial development in one clear direction – nationally and internationally.
The role combines strategic management with operational responsibility. You will develop plans, concepts and partnerships, but also actively contribute to sales work, relationship building and commercial follow-up. We are therefore looking for a leader who thrives on both developing long-term strategies and creating concrete results in the market.
You will succeed by developing people, building strong collaborative processes and further developing the organization's overall capacity - so that the business is stronger, both commercially and as a social actor.
About the role
The Head of Growth and Market is part of the organization's management team and is responsible for the subject area in the One Ship – One Crew organizational model.
The position is responsible for:
- Strategic development of the organization's commercial activities
- Further development of the brands Sørlandet and A+ World Academy
- Marketing, communication and reputation building
- International student recruitment to A+ World Academy
- Sponsor and partner development
- Development of new products, services and revenue sources
- Further development of commercial programs, voyages and events
- Sales and follow-up of commercial customers and partners
- Management and development of employees, partners and suppliers within the field
The role has a particular responsibility for strengthening the organization's visibility, relevance and financial sustainability through growth in both revenue, relationships and reputation.
We are looking for you as
- Have experience in business development, marketing, communications, sales or commercial management
- Has documented results in growth, branding, market development or sales
- Has experience in developing and implementing strategies
- Thrives in building relationships, networks and partnerships
- Has experience in leading employees and developing organizations
- Ability to combine long-term strategy with operational execution
- Is comfortable with both a leadership role and personal customer and partner follow-up
- Communicates well in Norwegian and English, both verbally and in writing
Experience from education, the cultural sector, the experience industry, international markets or non-profit organizations is an advantage, but not a requirement.
