Terms and conditions for participation in Skutejakta 2023

Campaign managers

Skutejakta 2023 is organized by Stiftelsen The Ship Sørlandet. By participating in the campaign, the participant is deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.

About Skutejakta

Skutejakta 2023 starts on June 3, 2023 and runs through June 26, 2023. To participate in Skutejakta, the participant must register. The user is responsible for ensuring that the information provided is correct. Registration is personal and non-transferable.

Participation

At the end of the above-mentioned period, winners of various prizes will be drawn.

Participants must provide their full name and e-mail address in order to participate in the competition. The Foundation The Ship Sørlandet will be responsible for the draw and is free to cancel the promotion at any time.

Announcement of prize winners

The Foundation The Ship Sørlandet reserves the right to publish content on social media where the participant's name may be used in connection with any prize. Participants accept that their names will be published on social media (e.g. Facebook and Instagram) if they win prizes.

The foundation The Ship Sørlandet will contact the winners for the necessary information for the prize. The winner is responsible for ensuring that the correct information is provided.

Disputes and disagreements

In the event of disagreement about the terms of competition, the Foundation The Ship Sørlandet reserves the right to make a discretionary decision on the matter. Participants cannot make a claim for damages against the Foundation The Ship Sørlandet on the basis of the campaign. The Foundation The Ship Sørlandet reserves the right to make changes to, or additions to, the terms and conditions of the promotion without notice.

Responsibilities

The Foundation The Ship Sørlandet disclaims any liability in relation to loss of data and/or changes to the user's systems as a consequence of use. All material on the website is owned by the Foundation The Ship Sørlandetor external licensors/right holders and is legally protected.

Registered contact and personal data is treated confidentially. The data will not be given or sold to third parties. The information will only be used as described in these terms and conditions. In addition to what is described in these terms and conditions, applicable Norwegian law applies to the processing of personal data, marketing and other administration of the campaign. Annual report for the Foundation The Ship Sørlandet i 2022

The 2022 financial year was a good year for the Foundation. The challenges of the pandemic could be put behind the organization and with a profitable subsidiary in A+World Academy, the foundation for further development with the ability to set aside funds for the large maintenance expenses that follow the world's oldest full rigger in full operation. See the attached annual report below.

Annual report 2021/2022 A+ World Academy GmbH

A+ World Academy GmbH was established in 2014 and the Foundation invested significant resources in developing a unique and competitive school program aimed at Norwegian and international students at upper secondary school level. The 2021/2022 school year also yielded a positive result, and since losses carried forward were covered, the company was in a tax position.

The foundation will soon have new offices

In connection with the premises as the Foundation The Ship Sørlandet tenant is to be converted into a transformer station, we are moving to Quay 6. It will be a temporary office solution close to the quay as the school ship Sørlandet uses when she is at home. - We expect to move in before Christmas, says Knut Arne Gjertsen, director of the Foundation.
